Missing mud season,

I Wanna put on my boots and play!

Go to the marsh stomp some mud and play!

Breathe in the air, forget yesterday, and play!

Feel the sun, feel the wind and play!

Look at the sky; look at the world and play!

Because----I’m alive when I play!!

Watched dead leaves-Frolic and play

Walked through plowed fields- sank deep in the mud

Waded in water- that is spring flood

As I Stood next to a tree-

Watching water trickled by

A day in may 07

I try to capture the moment but its not possible, so much is missing the feel of the cool morning air, the humid smell of the swamp,

The sound of birds awakening at dawn, the gentle rocking motion of the canoe and the immense size of the sky !

I try to capture the moment, but I can’t. just like all the great moments in my life they just seem to disappear into the past,

Into the back recesses of my mind and I can’t even tell somebody about them because I don’t know how to Verbalize how I feel when I’m in those moments.

See that paragraph sounds sappy to me ,

wish I knew how to talk !!

Serenely floating in the fog.

The Smell of fresh cut hay fills the air.

Night sounds whisper in my ear.

A cool light breeze brush’s my face.

My troubled thoughts quiet momentarily

As the world gently surrounds me !

Sometimes its awesome to be alive !
